Meet Rosaline
Breed: Foxy x
Barking from: Auckland
What's up dog?
Rosaline is basically a therapy dog. Since adopting her from spca, she has always been a old soul who would much prefer being around humans then other animals. When walking around our community she would always be approached by younger children were we could show them how to interact with dogs properly ( they 3 years on alllll know her name). At 2 we started taking her into a school and letting the kids there get to work with her and giving them a chance to learn about the responsibilities that you need for taking care of a dog. After that we started taking her to a early childhood center were she would stay with the babies, she would always run over and check any crying baby. While rosalines impact has mostly been around children, she doesn't stop their, because of her calm nature she was able to help our older generation who was a bit nervous around dogs. She has also made friends with all our local cats, bunnies and horses. When our cat had kittens rosaline was right their making sure her kittens were looked after when mum needed a break. She also is the big sister of about 11 foster puppy's who now go crazy when they see her even years later. If Rosaline was a human she would be a Huffelpuff who owns a rescue and a nursery in one. She is the kindest gentlest soul and she honestly has changed my life.
Funny story: we got her just after the first lock down and one day we come home and their she is on top of one of those washing lines -/=\- no clue how she got up their but she couldn't get down.
